Remarques Wireless Set No. 19 Canadian / CDN: Two-band high-power transceiver for armored fighting vehicles (AFV), trucks and stationary use consisting of a medium range shortwave ("A-Set") and a short distance VHF transceiver ("B-Set").

A-Set 2-4.5 / 4.5-8 MHz @ 5W (CW) / 2.5W (AM), B-Set 229-241 MHz @ 0,4W (AM).

Cette radio fut consruite au debut pourl 'Armée Britannique et durant l'été 1941 le  Département de la défense autorisa sa fabrication pour le Canada les USA et l'Australie

Des postes ont des inscriptions en cyrillique  ( ce qui est le cas pour ce modèle présenté car il a été fourni dans le cadre de la loi Pret Bail à l'URSS

WS No.19 was originally designed in the UK, in Summer 1941, the Department of National Defence authorized the production of the set in Canada, USA and Australia, as well.
The electric circuit differs slightly from the British original: a FLICK ADJ fine tuning control in the right lower corner next to the right dial and a AVC ON-OFF switch underneath the right handle have been added, Canadian W.S.19 power supplies differ considerably from the British equivalents.
Most Canadian sets feature a English / Cyrillic lettering on the front panel as they were produced under a Lend-Lease contract to supply the Russian Army.
