Le H1 est produit et commercialisé par General Motors Le Hummer H1 a été rendu célèbre par des célébrités comme Arnold Schwarzenegger. Cependant, en 2006 General Motors décidé d’arrêter cette fabrication surtout à la suite d’un renforcement de la loi sur les émissions de gaz à effet de serre loi votée en Californie sous l’impulsion du gouverneur Arnold Schwarzenegger ex acteur et ex fan du Hummer H1

The Hummer H1 is a civilian version of the M998 High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV, or Humvee), which was built by AM General. The vehicle was produced from 1992 through 2006,
Originally released in the civilian market in 1992, the Hummer H1 was the vehicle from some celebrities as Arnold Schwarzenegger
GM announced that 2006 to stop the fabrication of the Hummer H1, due to a new emission law for Diesel engine vehicles which took effect in 2007. This law was passed under the desire of the governor Arnold Schwarzenegger ( former actor !!!)
The Hummer H1 has three common variants:
a convertible-like soft top,
a four-door hard top pickup truck
a Wagon body version.
The convertible/soft top and the station wagon versions were the last ones available in the mass market. The two door and four door pickup versions are only available in fleet livery.
