The YPR-765 KMar is a modified YPR-765 PRCO C2/C4, specially modified for police and 'crowd and riot-control' (CRC) tasks.
In use with Royal Netherlands MarechausseeThe vehicle can have a bulldozer blade mounted on the front to clear obstacles or a ram to storm buildings. The bulldozer blade with frame weighs 1 tonne; the weight of the ram is approximately 250 kg. Five bulldozer blades have been purchased.
Another modification has been made to the rear ramp. A special iron bar has been mounted to keep the rear ramp stable horizontally when opened.
The YPR-765 KMar can also be equipped with a 7.62 mm machine gun. That can only be done by the order of the minister
. The standard configuration of the YPR is for amphibious capability; with the bulldozer blade or the ram mounted, however, it is no longer amphibious.
There is also a special version for storming a hijacked aircraft: the YPR 765 AAV (Aircraft Assault Vehicle).
