Cette arme est le canon de campagne lege utilisé pendant la Guerre Civile Anglaise. Il est monté sur, son affut d'origine rénové par le  Royal Carriage Department en 1824. Ce qui est inhabituel sur ce canon c'est l'axe de l'essieu central et sa  décoration
Il a probablement été utilisé comme une arme de précision visnat a tuer des individus choisis dans les rangs enemmis
Le fauconneau fut l'arme la  légere  du XVIIe siècle  est avait un  calibre d'environ 2  inches ( 50mm)

This gun is tipycal of the ligth field gun used during English Civil War . It is mounted on,its original carriage refurbished by the Royal Carriage Department in 1824 . It is unusual in that gun has no main axle and is decorated with wrougth iron motifs
It was probably used as a weapon to snipe at individuals in enemmy ranks
The falconet was one of the lightest pieces of the XVIIe century and was a loose classification for guns that were of around 2 inch caiibers
