En Janvier 2007 le restant le fuselage avant part par avion vers Osnabruck, et à la base RAF Mildenhall dans un C-17, avec un autre du fuselage CH-47 qui doit servir de cellule d'instruction.
Le 12 Janvier 2007, il est arrivé par la route au Musée d'Hendon
La restauration commence avec les remplacements des nombreuses pièces manquantes (l'avant du pylône, tete de rotor pales du rotor qui sont fournis par la RAF .Les autres parties étant fabriqués dans les ateliers du musée à Hendon ou prelever sur des épaves
Il reçoit son camouflage et le code «BN» sur le front du pylône de rotor pour représenter le Chinnok ZA 718 L qui a servi aux Malouines Irak avec la RAF
