Le KSK Wolf est basé sur le châssis du the Wolf Daimler Chrysler 270 CDI G issu de la gamme Mercedes Benz . La Bundeswehr a commandé en 2003 21 engins de ce type pour ces Forces spéciales en tant que véhicule de reconnaissance armé avec le ATV Yamaha Kodiak.
Avec un châssis de 4.885m de long, 1.820m de large et 1.870m de haut ce véhicule peut être armé avec une 12.7 ainsi qu’un lance grenade de 40 mm
4 autres mitrailleuses de 7.62 mm sont disponibles avec notamment un montage sur l avant (Hecklafette mount ) des DREBs ou Nebelmittelwerfer sont aussi disponibles sur le parechoc
Son equipage est de 2 hommes plus 8 soldats entièrement équipés
Ce véhicule rapide (120kms/h) peut transporter 4.5t de charge utile .Il peut être facilement blindé afin de protéger l’équipage Le Serval LIV (SO(for short) peut être facilement transporté par un hélicoptère CH53

Equipped is 4.885m long, 1.820m wide and 1.870m high this vehicle can be armed by a 12.7 mm MG and alos (alternatively) a 40mm grenade-fitted. Four other 7.62mm MG are available, especially in front on an Hecklafette mount and we found Nebelmittelwerfer (smoke dishcargers) are on he Bumper
His crew is of two with eight fully equipped soldiers .
This vehicle has a speed of 120 kms/h aand he can load to 4.500kg
He could be easily armored to protect the crew . The Serval LIV (SO(for short) go on the CH53 helicopter.
