Description
The CA-1 dozers was made by the Clark Equipment Company in Battle Creek Michigan. 2500 were made during WW2 for the War Department. It was small enough to load onto a glider or cargo aircraft for transport to forward locations where the CA1 was used to construct landing strips or other facilities. They are very small with the tracks being only 1.5m apart. The engine is a 4 cylinder gasoline water cooled Waukesha Model FC. and has a hydraulic bulldozer attachment for moving earth.and a witch on the rear
