Le canon Hispano-Suiza, mod. HSS 804 D.C.A. 20mm anti-aérien a été mis en service  par l'Armée Air Italienne ( AMI) pour la protection des bases  au milieu des années 1950, afin de contrer les frappes  aériennes à basse altitude. L'HS  est une arme automatique  mobile sur 360 ° Ell possède  un frein de bouche et une cadence de tir de 750-800 tours par minute, avec une vitesse initiale (V°) de  850 mètres par seconde. Chaque cartouche pèset 258 grammes et le chargeur at une capacité de 60  coups
Le canon, monté sur une remorque porte affut  fabriquée en Italie par Breda, pour un poids total de 622 kg.
