BMP 1 PS La Finlande a modifié tous ses BMP-1 et BMP-1P en BMP-1PS et BMP-1K1 . Le premier est similaire au BMP-1P d'origine, mais dispose de quatre lance-grenades fumigènes Wegmann de 76 mm supplémentaires à l'avant droit de la tourelle et de deux mortiers Lyran de 71 mm à l'arrière gauche. Les deux versions sont sans chargeur automatique.

BMP-1PS – Finland has modified all its BMP-1s and BMP-1Ps to BMP-1PS and BMP-1K1 level (q.v.). The former is similar to the original BMP-1P but has four additional 76 mm Wegmann smoke grenade launchers on the right front of the turret and two Lyran 71 mm mortars on the left rear. Both versions are without the autoloader.
